Halle Berry delivers another STELLAR performance in her new film “Frankie & Alice“. The indie drama first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2010 and was set to release on the big screen but remained on the shelf due to lack of distribution.
Berry plays a woman in the 70’s with a personality disorder who struggles to contain a racist alter-ego.
” The Geoffrey Sax film is the true story of an African American go-go dancer [played by Halle Berry] who struggles to remain her true self while fighting against two very unique alter egos; a seven year old child name ‘Genius’ and a Southern white racist woman named ‘Alice’.
” In order to stop the voices in her head, Frankie works together with a psychotherapist [payed by Stellan Skarsgard] to uncover and overcome the mystery of the ghost haunting her.”
Codeblack Entertainment is set to release the film on April 4th.
