Why Savannah Cristina “Self Care” Song Is The New Mantra For Us All?

” I Called Out Of Work To Write And Wrote A Song At The Beach “

Meet 22-year old Savannah Cristina Ashton!

The florida native stunned us last year with her first musical memoir album ‘Florida Girl’ . The singer opened up about her personal heartache with notable tracks like ‘Trust’, ‘Played Yourself’ ‘What I Want’ ‘Say You Do’ and ‘Get Right’.

Last month, Savannah reassured us that she has more to offer us and she unleashed a new self -love anthem entitled ‘Self Care’, and we’re loving it. This track is flooding our timelines and heating up the charts just the same.

Savannah joins the army of women that are reclaiming their time and practicing the ‘balancing act’ of being selfless for others and selfish T.L.C (tender, love, and care) with themselves.

Savannah does the same in another newly released single ‘Rebound’ where she addresses her ex-flame about his current relationship and draws comparison to the love they once shared. By the end of the song, she reveals that she was the ‘fool’ who was being pursued again as the rebound girl and nothing more.

The commonality between the two singles is ‘Self’. When one begins to listen to their intuition (aka ‘that whisper voice’) that reveals the truth of the reality that one is living, and feeling from the experience they’re engaging in, one begins to use their discernment with others. That individual makes better choices, and ultimately decides if they will continue to participate in that experience or exit; thus choosing ‘self care’ when love is no longer being served at the table.
