” Take It Slow, was a song that I literally wrote and arranged within the matter of an hour. I was going through a separation from someone I was truly in love with, and the day I wrote ‘Take It Slow’ was the first day I had some time off to be home with myself to digest the situation and being left for someone else.
There is no resolution by the end of the song. It’s literally a song about being still. There’s is no wright or wrong move, there’s nothing really to do but let life flow naturally no matter how painful it may feel to not have a solid ‘yes or ‘no’ at the time. ” – Isa
The grandfather of famed Cuban vocalist and actress, Isaura Mendoza, Isa [born Isa Marina Lopez] is an extraordinarily talented singer, songwriter, and model who has earned comparisons to Alicia Keys Selena, and Aaliyah.
Isa’s trained in dramatic soprano with a range spanning from D3 to D6. Her music is reflective of her multi-faceted personality, soulful roots, edgy exterior, and overpowering vocal ability. The Pace University graduate interned at Capitol records during her collegiate years, sparking her interest contemporary pop music and she underwent vocal training.
