Kendrick Lamar was one of the biggest winners of the 2016 Grammy’s last night and his performance was definitely one of the most unforgettable of them all. The TDE artist took home five of his eleven grammy nominations including ‘Best Rap Album’ and ‘Best Rap Performance’ for his 2015 anthem ‘Alright’ .
Kendrick Lamar’s Performance Is Truly One For The Ages! It was Jaw-Dropping, Powerful, Triumphant And More.
Chained in shackles, a bruised eye Kendrick enters center stage in a single file line with a few other ‘prisoners’ along with his ‘bandmates’ enclosed in jail cells rapping a verse from his popular ‘Black The Berry’ track.
In the second set, Kendrick delivers another provocative performance of ‘Alright’ with dancers in tribal customs and a large bonfire chanting “When You Know, We’ve Been Hurt Down Before, When Our Pride Was Low, Looking At The World, Where Do We Go, ….. But We Gon Be Alright ” .
Kendrick closed out his performance with a verse from an unreleased song backed by a large outline of AFRICA with Compton stamped in the center.
Update: the live stream video has been removed from the web, but Kendrick Lamar’s performance is still the talk of the town.
One Love PLUMS!
