Solange Knowles and her longtime boyfriend, Alan Ferguson finally tied the knot in a private lavish ceremony at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans over the weekend. The couple exchanged their vows in front of 200 guests [mostly family -sans Mathew Knowles] and close friends.
Solange is truly the X-factor when it comes to originality. Solange and Alan arrived at their ceremony in white painted ‘duffy’ bicycles. Solange walked down the aile to Donny Hathaway’s, ‘I Love The Lord, He Heard Me Cry’ and included live performance from musicians Kelela, Quest Love, and Kindness.
Solange looked flawlessly beautiful with very little makeup and ‘Au natural’ hair
Following the ceremony, the couple and the wedding party headed to the French quarter where they held their own Mardis Gras Parade.
Ferguson, 51 and Solange, 28 dated for five years prior to their engagement in June. Congrat’s to the couple once again!
