The fall season is here and it’s baby bloom season. Tyler Perry and girlfriend model/activist, Gelila Bekele are expecting their first child together. Perry reportedly made the announcement while celebrating his 45th birthday with close friends and family over the weekend and the film director, producer/actor couldn’t more excited about becoming a father.
Perry and Bekele have been courting on and off for five years now and the two are now ready for the next stage of their relationship in building a family unit.
Becoming a dad by the age of 45 was one of Perry’s life goals. In a prior interview, Perry says fatherhood was one of his achievable goals by the age of 45 and he proved that words and dreams surely MANIFESTS into reality.
” Right now, I’m enjoying what I’m doing. I’m enjoying the work. I ‘m enjoying being a bachelor, so eventually I’ll get there. Listen, I’m 43, so two more years… by 45 you know who the hell you are, right? You’ve really settled in at 45, so I think two more years. “
