Nicki Minaj made a special guest appearance at Power 105.1 concert at New York Barclay’s this past Friday Nov.1 Shortly after her performance, the Pink Friday sat down with The Breakfast Club [DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God] back stage where she dished on her racy “Halloween Costume”, her new album, and her thoughts on Kendrick Lamar ‘Control’ verse.
On Her Racy Halloween Costume:
” You know what. I’ve just been feeling alot free-er. It’s like if you feeling yourself you might just wanna show the world. Like f–k the world. Sometimes you hold so much back and it’s like look: I’m a girl and I won’t be able to do this wen I’m sixty years old so I’m going to do it. “
On If She Thought It Was Cause A Huge Stir In The Media:
“My friend Sheriksa [ her longtime friend] brought that for me two hours before I put it on. My stylist couldn’t come through with the costume I was going to get I was going to get this cheetah thing and paint my face. So I say let me get any ol’e thing and that was the any ol’e thing. “

” Yeah.. I’ve already started working on the album . My new album will be out in 2014 definitely. “
On Kendrick Lamar’s Control Verse & Not Bring Mentioned As A Top MC In Hip Hop:
” I’m probably one of the top n—he did mention so do your motherf-ckin research…. like straight up and down. But I also feel like maybe he’s one of those respectful, gentlemen that probably wanted to feel like, “I Don’t Wanna Say A Females Name”, or maybe he just don’t think the kid is ill, but the kid [referring to herself] know the kid is ill. So I don’t need to be on nobody’s sh*t. “
