Nene Leakes appeared on the Bethanny Frankel show earlier today where she dished on her new spin-off reality show “I Dream Of Nene” among other juicy topics. Nene explained why marrying Gregg for the second time was the best choice for her; saying that she believes that Gregg is her true SOUL MATE. Nene went on to talk about she’s evolved as a woman over the years, her current relationship with former BFF and co-star Kim Zolziack, and why she decided to get a PRE-NUP prior to exchanging vows.

As Bethanny points out. There are 80 housewives in the bravo franchise and Nene Leakes has been the most successful of them all thus far. So What’s Her Secret?
“I’d like to say, the reason why I’ve had the success I had because is that I tell it just like it is and I just stay true to who I am. It may not be right [all the time] but it’s who I am. That works for me. [Looks at Bethanny] I can’t be Bethanny because I look better at being Nene.”
On Regrets Of Her Past Behavior On Television:
Well, now I’m so experience so I can let ALOT of things go. In the beginning [sure] it was very hard . It very hard to see yourself doing certain things. I would say “Is that Me’ and I didn’t think I was that kind of girl. You know… I’ve done it so much and now my skin is thick they -the public] can say whatever they want to say. And that works for me – its okay!
On Her Relationship With Former BFF/Co-star Kim Zolzoiack
” I do miss Kim. Just being honest. I miss her, I miss her being around and on our show. I think that was then and this is now. I don’t consider us friends or BFF. I honestly wish her the best. I’ll call her and tell her to tweet I Dream Of Nene, and she will and I tweet about her show. Were cool. “
On Whether She Had Plastic Surgery in Her Facial Area:
Bethanny first investigates with a microscope] and concurs with Nene’s answer. “As wrinkle as my forehead is you think I had plastic surgery done. First of all, Why would I need plastic surgery? And trust me I believe in a nip and tuck. I just have not nip and tuck this face. You know when I got my boobs done, they hurt so bad and I was in such pain so no. “
On Her Marriage Rule Of Thumb:
“I believe that when you argue or if you have an argument [Gregg and I have always done this even in our first marriage]- you must sleep in the bed. Now you can’t have argument and get out the bed. You must stay in the bed. Now you don’t jave to put your feet on me, we can part the covers but you must get in the bed.”
Bethanny then asks: So don’t go to bed angry? Nene replies:
“No we go to bed angry all the time but you must get in the bed.”
On Getting A Pre-nup Prior To Re-Marrying Gregg:
“Yes. the first time I did not have pre-nup. You see the first time [Gregg] liked my ‘Hello Kitty’ [laughs]…..You know Gregg is very old school [he had an old way of thinking]. But now I’ve been to court with Gregg and I see how he fights. I have been very successful. People think pre-nup is a bad thing because it sort of like talking about a Will – you don’t want to talk about the WILL with your family because its not an easy thing to talk about. Pre-Nup’s are not an easy thing to talk about but they’re also not a bad thing. “
On Gregg’s Reaction To The Pre-Nup Proposal:
“Gregg did not like it. It was not sexy, it was not romantic to bring up…. I was so awful. I’d bring it up at dinner [ PRE-NUP] I’d bring it up in the bedroom [PRENUP].”
On Whether All Couples Seeking Marriage Should Get A Pre-Nup:
” I do. I think you should have a pre-nup so you don’t have to argue over the Flatscreen tv. It’s not like I don’t want to share with Gregg. My Pre-Nup doesn’t say do not share with Gregg; It say SHARE with Gregg but its very specific on what I’m sharing. “
