Jay-Z unveils yest another album and its dropping July 4th. The new album will be entitled “Magna Carta Holy Grail“. With Kanye releasing his new lp “Yeezus” on June 18th in Jay-Z to follow suit two weeks after – one can only assume and confirm that another “tour” is underway and the two will be headlining once again.
On Sunday [June 16th], Jay-Z announced the album news to fans via [commercial video announcement] during the NBA finals game and needless to say – this was not your average one -minute commercial. Jay-Z is shown in a studio session along with his top industry producers, Rick Rubin, Pharell, Timberland, and Swizz Beatz, whom he’s who he’s worked with over the years.
In the commercial ad Jay-Z says:
“It’s the duality of how do you navigate your way through this whole thing…through success, through failures, through all of this, and remain yourself. “
Talk about Consistency! I truly believe that Jay-Z will be rapping until he reaches retirement age – 4 real.
In addition to the announcement Samsung [who partnered with Jay-Z and sponsoring the commercial] noted that they will be issuing one million copies of Jay-Z’s ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail‘ album to it’s consumers with the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note II. Jay-Z reportedly racked up $20 million dollars on his new deal venture Samsung.
