TvOne’s popular ratings show R&B Divas is back for season two and fans can surely expect “drama” to unfold among the female cast members this time around. The show has returned all of its original cast [Nicci Gilbert, Monifah, Faith Evans, Keke Wyatt, and Syleena Johnson] along with new members, Latocha Scott [formerly of the Escape group] and new-soul singer, Angie Stone.
Now we’ve seen last season how the girls struggled initially when forming their “Divas” girl group due to personality clashes amongst a few of the women, and this season the women come across another challenge, as they can’t seem to book a tour gig due to constant “friction” in the group. Tensions heighten [particularly with singers Nicci Gilbert and Syleena Johnson], and from the looks of the preview these “Divas” will probably remain as solo artists instead.
