Rapper, EVE debut her latest video “EVE” featuring caribbean artist, Miss Kitty earlier this week. As the singer gears up to releases her fifth studio LP “Lip Lock” on May 14th, she affirms that this album is completely EVE despite her 10 year absence from the music industry. Eve raps:
“I’m Philly born-bred/ Raised /Never Left My Bones/ I’m A Bossy Glossy Mogul/ Went Worldwide/ My Name Is Known/ EVE”
The video was shot in London [where EVE resides]. Eve raps over a witty beat as she walks the London streets in a basic tee and leggings while declaring that she is the Queen of her throne [which can be heard repeatedly on the chorus as well] .
“Ain’t No Guessing/ Its EVE/ I’m the Champ They Wish They Be/ Know by now -Then F*ck With Me/ Stay On Top/No Touching Me”
Sidebar: I am digging this record PLUM’s. I actually like this track better than her first single “She Bad Bad“. It speaks more of who EVE is as an artist [and how she ‘s evolved musically over the years], and it presents an authentic hip hop feel – [in my opinion at least].
