The world and the CRITICS of Rihanna and Chris Brown reunion finally get to hear Chris Brown’s first [and probably only response] about the infamous 2009 incident involving his NOW again girlfriend Rihanna. While conducting an interview with UK’s “ Mirror “ magazine, Chris spoke candidly about public domestic incident [which ultimately dented his music CAREER and TARNISHED his image. In his own word Chris say:
“ That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake….Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals,”
As the story goes, Chris and Rihanna had got in to an argument [in 2009] which then turned violent and resulted in Rihanna being battered and bruised severely in the facial area. Chris was later convicted of a felony assault and was sentence to five years probation, one -year domestic viiolence counseling, six months of community service, and was forbidden to be within 100 yards of Rihanna. Both Rihanna and Chris have since forgiven one another and although they tried to move on in their separate lives, it often seemed like a dead end road because they were OBVIOUSLY still in love with one another and their ACTIONS spoke LOUDER than their words despite the barrage of people who felt that these two simply should NOT be together [and still do til this day].
Chris says he’s had to work hard to win back Rhanna’s love:
“[It took] serious making up,” he continued. “But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it.”
Last year rumors began swirlling that Chris and Rihanna were secretly back together and we’ve seen all the proof imaginable [ the photos of Ri-Ri and Chris vacationing together, hook-ups at private events, Rihanna dining with Chris mother, and the popular tape of Chris Brown’s admission for his love of Rihanna and then girlfriend Karrueche Tran back in December’] Following her in depth interview with Oprah Winfrey last year [where Rihanna confessed that she had still believe that Chris was indeed her TRUE LOVE] Ri-Ri sought to admit her own truths and finally went public with Chris. The couple stepped out publicly at the 2013 Grammy Awards and while many may still be “UP IN ARMS” about their reunion, these two couldn’t be more happier with one another. But their reunion seems to cause more jokes, and SCRUTINY as the days go by.
This past weekend, comedian Seth McFarlane [hosted the 2013 Oscar Academy Awards] and he stated a NOT SO NICE joke about the couple saying
When asked about the public criticism Chris says:
“People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time,” he said. “But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything…..I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted, Brown said. I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.”
