I had the pleasure of attending Al Hassan ‘Toure‘ Designs “Evolution” fashion show during NYC fashion week [Feb. 7th – Feb. 14th] and needless to say there was a not a show better than this to close out fashion week with a BANG. The event was held at NYC famous LimeLight marketplace.
Fashion Designer, Al Hassan took his designs to new heights as he introduced his 2013 spring and fall collection which included alot of spiked, studded, leather, animal printed furs, jackets, pants, t-shirts, boots, [and more] suitable for men, women and children. The Ghana born designer has become an industry favorite working with and custom designing for some of today’s hottest artists like Usher, Trey Songz, Young Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, etc.
The star studded event included a celebrity all star list. Among those that attended were music mogul & entrepreneur , Russell Simmons, Supermodel Jessica White, Miss U.S.A. Nana Meriwether, Rappers Waka Floka, and Maino, Rap Legend, Raekwon, Singer/Songwriter, Mashonda Basketball wives star, Meeka Claxton, Rapper “Gravy” aka “Jamal Woolard “from the The Notrious B.I.G movie, Mob wives, Ramona Rizzo, Music Producer Rico Love , and so many more.
As the show concluded Al Hassan received a” STANDING OVATION” from the crowd and his fashion show was NOTED as one of the BEST of NYC fashion week.
