Kelly Rowland is gearing up to release her fourth solo album and this time, Kelly promises that her new ‘LP‘ will spark new conversation among her fans. With the popularity of her latest single “Kisses” , Kelly seems more confident and in control more so now than the the days of her role Destiny’s Child. While many of the fans were assuming a reunion would re-spark amongst the trio [Beyonce, Kelly, & Michelle] following their Superbowl performance, Kelly confirms that the trio are still working independently of one another and she is so excited about her new album.
When asked about her lyrics in the single ‘Kisses’: “I like my kisses down low, makes me arch my back,” she sings, “When you give it to me slow, baby just like that.” Kelly explains:
“I think it’s important for a lady to express that that’s the way it should be handled some times,” she told Big Tigger of V-103/Atlanta.
As for the album Kelly says there were many songs that she considered and wanted to throw on the album, but her direction of music shifted [having learned and expereinced more as a woman] which led her to choose an questionable title name:
“I condensed it down to about 14 songs for this album,” she said. “It encouraged me to change the title. I was a lot more revealing, a lot more intimate. It’s called “Talk A Good Game“, now.”
Kelly also reveals that this album pushes the envelop a bit further:
“After you hear this album and the songs, we are going to need another conversation,” she said. “You’re gonna have a lot of questions and I’m going to answer them all.”
