Beyonce Did That! Whether your a football fan or not, millions of people tuned in to watch the 2013 NFL Superbowl show for one reason only – Beyonce! Whether this was a genius marketing tool [on Pepsi’s behalf] or the NFL association’s way of giving the fans something to remember – they truly scored big on their return of investment last night. The 600,000 set was worth every dollar.
Beyonce’s halftime performance show was PHENOMENAL! Taking center stage once again, King Bey was determined to rid the LIP SYNC rumors down [once and for all] and quiet the HATERS – and indeed she did! Performing her classic hits, ‘Crazy In Love’, ‘Come Take My Hand‘, ‘Baby Boy‘, ‘Halo‘ and more, Bey’s performance was GRAND!
Midway through her performance Beyonce brought out her former Destiny Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. The trio sang ‘Independent‘, ‘Bills, Bills, Bills‘, and ‘Put A Ring On It‘.
Sidebar: Ms. Kelly Rowland was looking oh so thick-alicious in that outfit. Get it!
Following Bey’s performance the superdome experience on and off again technical difficulties. The power kept shutting off. At one point, I thought, rapper Future was going to walk out and sing: “Turn On The Lights” – I’m Looking For Her” cause Bey was back high demand after that SPECTACULAR performance.
