The 2013 NFL Superbowl [which was held in New Orleans] was more than just a football game; it was a moment of history. Keeping in line with our February Black History month celebration, the NFL association enlisted all black performers for the special occasion. Jennifer Hudson opened the ceremony with the Sandy Hook Elementary choir; singing “America The Beautiful”. The heartfelt performance captivated the audience and the team players [ Raven and 49ers] who watched on the sidelines as they remember 26 Sandy Hook victims who lost their lives on Dec. 14th 2012. We all know J-Hud can SANG and last night no difference. Jennifer didn’t even peak her normal high range yet she still delivered another great performance.
