The Grammy’s Induct New Dress Code: Ladies Must Cover It All Up!

-3

Finally, someone  is taking a stand for some of the  ‘SLACKNESS‘ dressing [that we often see] at awards show.  As you may know, the Grammy Awards  is revered similarly to the Oscars Awards];  honoring the achievements of  recording artists, as well as the technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position. It is the highest award every musician strive to obtain and given so, the GRAMMY’s would like to uphold its prestige character and has now issued a dress-code ruling [especially for the ladies -who thrive on showing all their goods for red carpet recognition].

According to sources inside the CBS network , the Super Bowl XLVII blackout coverage and a  Beyonce’s [alleged] halftime nip slip, has probed CBS to release wardrobe guidelines this week for Grammy Awards attendees. Here ‘s the  set of rules below:

CBS Program Practices advises that all talent appearing on camera please adhere to Network policy concerning wardrobe.

Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare flesh under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack. Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic.

Please avoid sheer see-through clothingthat could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible “puffybare skin exposure. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts. Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared.

OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. This as well, pertains to audience members that appear on camera. Finally, The Network requests that any organized cause visibly spelled out on talent’s wardrobe be avoided. This would include lapel pins or any other form of accessory.

From the looks of this review book, CBS seems to be having more than chip on shoulder given these  STRICT detailed rules and regulations. IE: No logo/brand products on t-shirts – C’mon!  I’d rather CBS be bold enough to simply say Formal Attire ONLY.

Sidebar: So -what does this mean for artists whose artistic creativity lies mostly with their public image look than their actual musical talent?  Is the Grammy’s trying to expose some of the underlying industry truths here or is this simply a dress code issue – that they obviously have become despised by?

Well folks , whether you agree, or disagree – brace yourself to see less ASSETS of women, and or  FLAMOYANT/ FLASHLY dressing of men either.

Now I ask again – Will you be watching the Grammy’s?
