Cassie & and rappers Trina, and Lola Monroe pair up and cover Trinidad James “All Gold Everything” record. In the revised track the ladies floss and rave bout their lavish lives while noting that their standards are high -and only men with money can look their way.
The catchy hook: Gold All In My Chain, Gold All In My Ring , Gold All In My Watch strings along in the chorus [similar to the original song track].
I’m not sure which line I’m most impressed with but Trina sure stood out with her one liner “Popped the Molly – I’m Dancing!”
I guess its safe to assume that Trina was either NOT trying to associate herself with the other industry ‘Molly‘ abusers or just simply rephrasing James popular song line “Pop The Molly – I’m Sweating” .
Sidebar: Lola Monroe [to me] had the best verse. Monroe who [is said to be the next Nicki Minaj] is sure to ruffle a few feathers with her similar style of word play – but she’s is definitely a talented threat.
