Last week Tuesday Jan. 15th, I was granted the opportunity to attend an exclusive invite-only event hosted by SFPL [Stuff Fly People Like] very own Rae Holiday and Gabriel Williams alongside, Akoo Clothing line [who previewed a few pieces from their spring and summer line. The Hennessey sponsored event [which was held at AKOO NYC showroom] also celebrated singer, Dawn Richard [January issue cover of SFPL mag ] and the release of her first solo album debut “Golden Heart“. I got a chance to network and catch up with many up & coming /current artists , fashion designers, journalist from other mag, photographers, public relation reps, stylist and more that attended event but unfortunately my video battery didn’t allow me to capture all the interviews I’d wanted to.
However, I did get a chance to speak with up & coming singer, Esnavi [from Harlem, NY] and stylist Kendrell Bowman [who styled Dawn Richard for the January cover].
