Looks like Jerry Seinfeld is ready to embark on a new career adventure. The famous actor/comedian announced that he will be working with rapper Wale in some capacity for Wale’s upcoming mixtape album “About Nothing: ” The stand-up comic says that his wife [who’s a huge fan of Wale] encouraged him to pursue the joint venture and Jerry seems excited about it all.
“Wale called me and came to my show and hung out a little bit,” he explained of the collaboration. “He wanted me to do something with him and I didn’t understand it but he did. I like the guy, I dug the guy. I listened to his music and I liked his music. So I said, I’ll do it even though I didn’t know what I was going to do.”
Jerry later told his wife about the new project saying:
“I said to my wife, I’m doing this thing with this guy Wale. She said ‘Wale is my favorit hip-hop artist anywhere. I have everything. [But] somehow she missed everything that had to do with me. I said, Just type Wale and me and see what comes up. Of course, a whole bunch of stuff comes up. It was unbelievable. We are living together and she’s into him, and he’s into me. I had no idea.”
