Nicki Minaj made her second guest appearance on NBC’s Jay Leno show Monday night [Jan.13th]. The “Pink Friday” star dished on her new gig on American Idol, her public feud with Mariah Carey [and where they stand now], her introduction to music in highschool, and turning a new leaf on her “temper” in the new year. When speaking of the Mariah feud Nicki also shared that the “catfight” was not a publicity stunt to boost ratings for the show. The fight started from a simple joke-turned serious.
“It definitely isn’t a fake feud…We’re both passionate, and both crazy, and we’re both, you know,….and then sometimes it just goes ‘rawrr'”

In related news Nicki quickly calmed the rumors of an alleged break-up with her boyfriend Safaree [aka Scaff Breezy]. The couple were spotted leaving BOA Steakhouse restaurant in LA last night. Nicki was refreshingly decked out in a cropped fur jacket. canary yellow roll-neck and stylish wedged sneakers paired with black leggings. Last week, rumors alleged that Nicki and Safaree parted ways after Nicki was spotted leaving dinner with a mystery man, who we have now confirmed is rapper Binx -Nicki Minaj’s artist. Following Nicki’s dinner with Safaree she tweeted:
”Laughed til my stomach hurt. Finally heading home. Inside jokes r: africa reloaded, zoolander and catnip…kony2013,9 lives & more”.
