It’s official, Amare Stoudemire is off the market. The NBA star married his longtime girlfriend and mother of his three children, Alexi Welch, in a private ceremony on Wednesday [Dec.12]. From the leaked pics, we gather their ceremony was far from the American traditional weddings that were used, and instead one of personal spiritual preference. The couple wore ivory, black and gold robe-style garbs. Amare wore a Yamaka on his head [as did his son] and his wife and his two daughters wore multi-patterned dresses. Following the ceremony, Amare Stoudemire took to twitter to share the wedding news with his fans saying:
“12-12-12 now has a special and spiritual meaning for us”
