Rapper, T.I is surely turning a new leaf on life since he release from prison last year. The rapper new reality show “The Family Hustle was a rapid success and many say it’s largely attributed to the positivity of the show and it’s premise of a “real” family setting. In IntouchWeekly magazine November issue, Clifford T.I. Harris, his wife Tameka Tiny Harris and their six children did an homage family portrait in tribute to the “Huxtables” from infamous hit tv show “The Cosby Show”
T.I talks about the success of his show and responds to the comparison to ”The Cosby Show’ saying:
“It’s flattering, though I like to think of us as a unique piece of our society! The Huxtables are more conservative, older and from a different environment. But we share unity, strength and prominence, says T.I.”
When asked how T.I. is coping to family life he says:
“It’s chaotic — but if it wasn’t, it’d be boring!”
Sidebar: I really enjoy their reality show. It takes alot of balls for a man [yet alone a rapper] to broadcast his family life on television for millions of viewers to see. The last time I’ve seen such a show was when Reverend Run [formerly Run of Run DMC] family show appeared on MTV a few years back. Then again, Snoop Dog also did a family reality show awhile back as did Comedian Sinbad, and Terry Crews who stars in his reality show ‘The Family Crews‘ on the BET Network.
