Today’s music feature goes to Please P [formerly of the “Pretty Ricky” male group]. Please P [who now goes by his real name Marcus Cooper] is back after a three-year industry hiatus. Marcus has opted for the independent route with E-One Music the second time around.
The singer appeared on BET’s 106th and park show where he debuted his latest song and video “I Love Girls” and said that although he was not seen much in the public eye in recent years, he notes that he was writing music for his new album throughout that time. He went on to say that he’s joining the mission to save and restore R&B music in the industry along with artists TGT [Tyrese, Genuine and Tank], Miguel, Bobby V, and others
Pleasure debut his first solo album “The Introduction of Marcus Cooper” in 2009; earning him a Grammy nomination and selling over 150,000 units moved in record sales.
