Cleveland Woman Speaks About ‘Uppercut’ Incident With Bus Driver: It Was Mortal Kombat For Real!

We now know the name of the woman who was punched and thrown off the bus by 59 year old bus driver,  Artis Hughes of the Cleveland RTA department. Shidea Lane, 25 spoke to a local news reporter about the incident alleging that the bus driver snapped at her for taking too long in entering her fare in the token booth. Earlier reports suggest that the altercation began as Lane aboarded the bus. Lane was reportedly drunk and had no intention of paying her fare because he didn’t have ANY MONEY!

In Lane’s statement with the reporter of Cleveland Fox 8 news, she [Lane] insisted that she did have her fare and she asked the driver to give her several minutes and he later became irritated and violent towards her.  From the looks at this new video footage, the two were going it at for some time before things turned physical.

Here’s the new video:

When asked about the punched Lanes says:

It was like Mortal Kombat for real. He was the finisher!

RTA Dept has released a statement of the incident saying:

“Upon identifying the driver, he was immediately suspended and removed from duty. His behavior is Absolutely Unacceptable!”

RTA apologizes to our customers for this incident”
