This video is Certified Plum! Pink truly gets better with time. Her new video “Try” is the second single off her new album “Truth About Love” [which is in stores now] The Floris Sigismondi directed film depicts the ups and downs of tumoultous relationships in visuals and Pink and her male co-star [who plays her boyfriend in the video] use ‘Apache’ dance choreography interpretation in telling the story in the video.
Sidebar: Pink slays the choreography in the video. Her co-star Colt Prattes who is professional dancer and has starred on Broadway musicals [including the famous play, West Side Story] says Pink brought her A-game on set.
“Pink brought her A-game long before they were on a sound stage, with extensive aerial and dance practice. I walked up behind her for that first moment and she started singing,” he said. “It was right in my ear. It’s like she barely took breaths. She’s a powerhouse.” – reports LA Times!
The words of the song are just as captivating as Pink describes all the insecurities [from both partners] that unfold in a relationship while noting that both persons must be willing to “Try” in picking up the fallen pieces in order to sustain their relationship.
