Leo O’Brien Of The Hit Movie Classic “The Last Dragon” Passes At Age 41

Leo O’brien [on left] who starred in the 1985  hit movie classic “The Last Dragon” has died. the actor was 41 years and was fpund dead in his aparment in NYC. The cause of death has yet to be released. The autopsy of his death were found inconclusive, however  the medical examiner’s office are currently awaiting toxicology results.

O’brien played  “Richie“, the little brother of  Taimak Guarriello aka “Bruce Leroy“in the film. The two were estranged after the film and O’brien did other business pursuits but the stars hit a brick wall and wound up in prison serving as term of eight years. Last year O’brien was shot  three times by an acqaintance in Harlem  following an argument the two had.

Guariello, worried and concerned about his friend visited O’brien in the hospital where the two rekindled their relationship and the two had begun working on a short indie-film.

He was very talented, It wasn’t like he lost his talent, This was a movie that touched a lot of hearts and he was wonderful in it,” said Guarriello.
