[Video] Rick Ross And Young Jeezy Fight At BET Hip Hop Awards

Rapper Young Jeezy and Rick Ross were reportedly in a “brawl” at the 2012 BET HipHop Awards-reports TMZ.

Ross and Jeezy apparently had beef prior so when they ran into each other at the award ceremony they were set on settling the beef. The two rappers exchanged words backstage and clearly that didn’t go over well with the two. A semi-altercation infused between the two which involved a lot of “grown man” shoves and pushes and security (from both parties) intervened and separated the two rappers. The fight then continued outside of the venue (near the parking garage area) and it was stated that a member of Ross’s entourage pulled out a gun and several shots were fired at the scene.

Now Atlanta police have noted that “there was no arrests made” following the incident and both Ross and Jeezy remained at the BET Awards. The officers did note that OC spray was used to diffuse the incident but allege that there was no “gunplay” involved. TMZ is sticking to their story and say there sources have confirmed that “shots were fired”

This story is getting interested by the minute.

Now , DJ Drama who was at the scene and affirms police testimony that the altercation did got as stated in paragraph one above and he  “NEVER” saw or heard a “GUNSHOT” as other witnesses have reported.

The beef between Ross and Jeezy allegedly goes back two years [2010] and stems from a diss record that Jeezy had done which many people assume to be aimed at Rick Ross. Rick Ross did a record entitled ‘BMF [Blowing Money Fast]’. Jeezy who was a former member of the notorious ‘BMF [Black Mafia Family]’ was said to be offended by Ross track and responded his feelings in a record entitled “Death B4 Dishonor’ where he stated that following:

How you Blowin’ Money Fast?/
You don’t know the crew/
Oh, you part of the fam?/
Sh–t, I never knew/

When questioned in interviews Jeezy downplayed the beef and stated that the track was a never a diss record to Ross but he also mentioned in the same sentence that if Ross felt offended by the record than he’s clearly insecure. Obviously that comment didn’t diffuse the beef.

When Rick Ross was asked of the beef with Jeezy, he openly expressed that he and Jeezy were once friendly acquaintances but since the release ‘BMF’ record their relationship became more estranged.

Clearly, the beef stew between these two is stick thick and it’s not “THINNING” no time soon.

Given the popularity of this beef, BET Network released a statement regarding the incident:

Tonight during a taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards 2012 (not the BET Awards which went down without incident two months ago) an altercation between two rap entourages broke out backstage. Atlanta police and BET security quickly defused the altercation.

According to the Associated Press, police spokesman Carlos Campos said officers responded to the scuffle at around 7:30 p.m. EST Campos says there were no shots fired.

More drama unfolded as two men were involved in a fistfight in the parking lot of the venue.

BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.”

Despite the actions of a few the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards embodied the true spirit of hip hop and was not impacted at all by any incidents. Tune in on Tuesday, October 9, 8P/7C to watch the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Here’ the video obtained by TMZ:

When BET Network stated their there was another incident that went down in the parking lot and that was also true.  Sources say that members of 50 Cent entourage were involved with a “fight”  with Gunplay  a member of Rick Ross Maybach Music camp.  Video footage has surfaced showing rapper Gun play rawling with another male before being pepper-sprayed and fleeing the scene.

Here’ s the video folks.

The senseless violence and killings is “SIMPLY NOR WORTH IT“. I’m sure these “grown ass men” can sit down in a boardroom and hash out their differences once and for all.
