Beyonce and Jay-z owned NYC last night. President Barack Obama made his way to Jay-Z 40/40 club to a partake in a fundraiser event hat was held by the hip hop couple themselves, The Carter’s. The $40,000 per ticket event included many of the Carter’s close friends [in and out of the industry] in addition to the many business affiliates that were also in attendance at the private event.
Opening the ceremony, Ms. Beyonce Knowles Carter said :
“I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama,” she said. “We believe in his vision.”
When Obama took the podium he said :
“To Jay and Bey, thank you for your friendship.” Mr. obama went to joke how his grils Michelle, and daughters, Malia and Sasha, were annoyed that he got to spend the evening Bey and Jay. Obama went onto say how Beyonce is a role model to many girls and he also discuss his similarities with Jay-z having a wife [who’s more popular than him, and also having a daughter.”
