Despite what many people think regarding a possible reunion between Rihanna and Chris Brown, I must say that I am enjoying the stance that Rihanna and Chris Brown have taken against the public in recent weeks.
Ever since the airing of Rihanna’s interview with Oprah [where she publicly expressed the 2009 which caused her break-up with Chris Brown, while also noting that she still considers Chris Brown a true love for her] Rihanna has caught alot of flack for her “telling the truth” speech. Folks even stated that Chris Brown was upset at Ri-Ri for rehashing up old wounds on television rather than focusing on their “friendship” and their music careers [which both are looking positively great right now] instead.
Sidebar: Well, we all know that one must be able to identify the problem in order to find the solution.Chris Brown owned his part in the break-up while declaring that he still loved Rihanna, now three years later, Rihanna has finally done the same publicly.
Ri-Ri and Chris showed the world that the two are still close friends and they made their affection known at the 2012 MTV VMA’s thursday [Sept.7th]. Following her “Cockiness” performance with A$AP Rocky, Rihanna changed into her red carpet gown and as she made her way to her seat, she stopped to greet Chris [who was seated a few rows to the right of her] and he responded like a true gentlemen.
Brown planted a soft kiss on her cheek with a nice soft hug to the waist area. This sign of affection erupted twitter fans into a frenzy just moments after; leading many to believe that the two might be reconciling after-all.
