Rita is fierce, sexy, and bold in the September issue of GQ magazine. The kosovo-brit born singer has been taking the US by storm and she attributes her recent success to her talented singing ability and love of music. In the mag, Rita talks about her three year development under, working in the studio, and advice she’s learned from Jay-Z being a solo artist.

Rita says that she is well aware of the pitfalls of the music industry but says that her talent is undeniable, and audiences can tell the difference in the artist who possess that ability and those that don”t.
“It’s fun to show off your abilities. Your vocal range, your tone. The public’s not stupid…You can tell an honest artist from one who’s just been given all their songs.” says, Rita
During the shoot Rita talks about her work ethic in the booth saying:
“I usually record, just so I can put it on full blast. There’s nothing like listening to a track that’s just recorded on full volume,” she says in the vid.
In the british issue of GQ magazine, Rita Ora talks of the advise she was given by her boss/mentor, Jay-Z. Rita says:
“The best advice he gave me was, ‘Have you see Chris Martin perform? You know it’s literally just him on a stage? And he just rocks it out,’ Jay told me. ‘You don’t need dancers and stuff around you.”
