In a judge rullng earlier today, Usher Raymond was awarded primary custody of his two sons Usher Raymond V 4 , Nayvid Rayomond 3, both of whom he had with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.
The ruling is as follows:
“The father shall have final decision-making authority with respect to all matters concerning the children, including but not limited to education, religion, extracurricular activities, health and mental well-being, but he shall first discuss any major decisions relating to such matters with the mother.”
At a time where many people would celebrate a MAN winning a custody basttle over the maternal mother is seems more of a somber moment than anything. Foster [who recently lossed her son Kile Glover on July 21 following a fatal jet ski accident], reportedly begged Usher to withdraw his petition of full custody.
According to AJC News Tameka said:
“I was like, ‘It’s ridiculous, are you mad at me? I don’t know why. You know your kids are fine. They’re happy. They’re productive.’ … Maybe I don’t do everything perfectly, but I do the best I can,”
In the ruling, both Usher and Tameka, was awarded joint custody but Usher was granted physical custody of the boys . The judge also ordered that the two undergo co-parenting counseling with a [facilitator present on hand.] so the two can ultimately build a more functional and productive relationship for their children.
Really hope these two can come to some resolve for the sake of their children. Hoping for the best!
