Rapper Azealia Banks aka “Acquababe” truly has the fashion bug. Her music captivates wide audiences both in the States, and in the U.K; top designers adore her bold and daring sense of style which landed her to take part in both NY fashion and Paris week this past year and declared Alexander Wang’s new “It Girl”, and now Banks is making her way in to the cosmetic industry.
Banks has scored her very own limited edition M.A.C. lip color entitled after her alter stage name “Yung Rupunxel”. Banks took to twitter yesterday to share the news with her “mermaid” fans:
“Little Zee Zee has a MAC LIPSTICK !!!!!” said Banks.
The limited edition is described as a dark eggplant purple which is similar to Banks signature green and purple hairdo that she often wears. Banks will be making a in-store performance at the MAC Soho location during New York’s Fashion Night Out Sept 6th.
Want to rock the new look. Well, the Yung Rupunxel limited edition goes on sale online Sept 5th. and will be made available in NYC M.AC stores beginning Sept 6th through Septh 20th.
