It’s no coincidence that Rihanna’s recent interview with Oprah would raise a few eyebrows after Rihanna revealed that she still loves Chris Brown while admitting that even after the 2009 incident she still beleives that Chris Brown is a “True Love” for her. While many of us predicted Ri-Ri’s thoughts well before she made the announcement, some folks are still bothered by Rihanna’s admission.
Fashion police talk show host Joan Rivers [who I absolutely admire and adore ] was displeased with Rihanna’s confession and in true Joan Rivers fashion, she made her feelings publicly known on twitter, and she sure let her tongue loose on her comments. Joan Rivers must of just watched the interview when she tweeted the following yesterday to Rihanna
“Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown,. “Idiot!” Now it’s my turn to slap her.”
Ri-Ri who was crowned the “essence of the F-word” fired back in a more quieter tone than usual, but she let her tongue loose a bit saying:
“Wow, you really do get slow when you’re old, huh?”
Reportedly, Ri-Ri had a change of heart and or angel message from Gran Dolly, and has since deleted the tweet. Nonetheless, Joan Rivers offered a bit of advise to Ri-Ri:
“Honey, Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics,” PS — Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
Contrary to what the consensus may feel or believe- People do change and not all criminals are repeated offenders although there is a large percentage of those that fall into that category. Not to add salt to the wound, but given the popularity of this incident, if Rihanna and Chris Brown were to get back together, the camera’s would be all over them 24/7 to a point that they wouldn’t even be able to have a argumnet in public much less another physical altercation.
It is evident that these two still love each other and DESPERATELY want to get back together. Their parents support it, the two of them support, and the CHRIANNA fans support it too. It’s been 4 years since this incident and Chris Brown has been involved with girlfriend Karrueche Tran since then. He’s clearly a changed man as he has no RECORD of putting hands on his new boo, and resume focus in his music career s well. Give the boy some credit.
Rihanna and Chris need to forget the haters, and strike the iron while it’s hot , cause it might be too late if they continue to prolong their Romeo & Juliet love.
