Melanie Fiona has dropped the the cover art for her new single “Wrong Side Of Love“, the fourth single of her new album “The MF Life” [which is in stores now]. In the record, the singer leaps deep into her break-up with acotr whom she’s was with for several now
Melanie says:
“I wrote this song from a very personal place and time in my life. The image you see is honest. I didn’t want to go to a photographer and have this emotion shadowed by a staged photo shoot with expensive clothes, glam, hair and full makeup. I captured myself in the actual moment of feeling the way I did. The truth about Love is that isn’t always beautiful. In music, there is a truth that needs to be heard and felt. I am not afraid to share my truth in ‘Wrong Side of a Love Song.’
Melanie also said prior that this is her most personable and acclaim album to date. The album touches on every aspect of love, [make-ups to break-ups, the heartaches in between, and the dilemma of wanting to leave but also wanting to stay at the same time] which many of us can attest to.. I have the album and I must say it is by far one of the best albums of 2012.
Here’s the song. Can’t wait to see the video.
