History Resurfaces! Chad Charged With Domestic Abuse Post NFL Career!

More trouble! Chad Johnson aka Chad Ochocinco was arrested record has resurface and it’s not good. The former wide receiver, was arrested on domestic abuse charges back in 2000.

According to reports [which TMZ released] Chad was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery in L.A. on Feb. 7th 2000. The incident occurred just before he began playing football for Oregon State University.

“Sources close to the case tell TMZ ,  the victim was his GF at the time … and she told police the football star had slapped her in the face after he accused her of cheating on him.”

“According to court records, Johnson — 22 years old at the time — pled no contest … and the court found him guilty of domestic battery.”

Chad was never jailed and instead was given a a plea deal where he was only ordered to do 30 days of graffiti removal, and 12 months of domestic violence counseling. Chad never completed his court order until he joined the Cincinatti Bengals in 2002.
