After dropping the teaser video for her radio single “Murda Bizness” fans couln’t wait to see what Iggy would produce in the official video. Well folks, the wait is over.
Iggy finally dropped the video this week and boy is she’s raising some eyebrow with this one [well, at least for those that may not understand her metaphorical verses and topics of course. In the video, Iggy raps about being in the Mura bizness [which references a more volatile place, however Iggys plays “pageant coach” to a group of young girls while rapping about Murda Bizness. Iggy raps:
Hit the club, with bad bitches, stacking hunneds, bunch of fifty’s/
Super clean, shout get them/,
Hit the scene, kill shit, we in the murda bizness/
I kill pride, I hurt feelings, click clack bang bang we in the murda bizness/
My outfit, I murk bitches, click clack bang bang we in the murda bizness
Not sure if Iggy was trying to show a different perspective of the song but clearly Iggy wasn’t talking “Murda Bizness” in the literal sense in the video. However, it’s hard to tell when judging the lyrics of the song. I guess will never understand the full mind of an artist.
