Tameka Foster [ex-wife of Usher] decided to take her 11-year old son, Kile Glover off of life support yesterday [Saturday July 21] . As reported earlier , Kile and a friend were stuck by a jet ski as they sat in an inner-tube in Lake Lanier in Georgia earlier this month. Police identified the driver of the jet ski who just so happens to be a family friend, Jeffrey S. Hubbard.
Kile was instantly declared brain dead following the accident and a few weeks later, the insurance company informed Tameka that they would no longer cover Kile health expenses, leaving Tameka to face the biggest and most difficult task as a parent by choosing whether or not she’d continue to keep her son on life support. On Saturday, July 21 at approx. 9:00am Tameka made her decision to take her son off life support.
A close friend of Tameka family friend confirmed the news with ‘E’ News saying:
“It’s very, very, very difficult time right now,” Foster’s friend, producer Jodi Gomes, told E! News. “As a mother, I’m devastated for my friend. Tameka is holding up strong. She is very faithful and puts all her trust in the Lord, truly.”
