We can put the rumors to rest that Kim did not attend the 2012 Met Gala because of a schedule conflict which made it impossible for her to attend after Kim initally tweeted that she was enthused about attending the event and seeing the latest fashion trends. Well, the real skinny of the matter is that Kim was not invited.
According to theimproper.com: “Tables are usually purchased by fashion brands and celebrities are typically invited to attend without cost. Such luminaries as Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce are among regular attendees. Young Hollywooders like Kristen Stewart and Emma Stone made the list this year”.
Anna hates Kim,” a source tells the site. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
Kardashian had tweeted just hours before the ball, “So excited to see all the fashion going on in New York tonight at the MET! leading many believe that she would be attending. But the attention-loving star did not make it down the red carpet beside beau West, who wore a classic tux.
“Kim and her camp will deny that she wasn’t invited by saying that she had business in LA, but that is a lie. She would of done anything to be there with all the A-listers,” the source furthered. “The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim couldn’t even buy her way in.”
Just when we thought the Kardashian’s pockets were deep, we find that despite one’s celebrity or affiliation even Kim Krdashian can be upstaged and denounced by the elite powers that be. But if were’ being honest here: Kim would of killed that red carpet cause her fashion is definitely on point.
