Charlize Theron finally unveiled her new adopted son Jackson yesterday. Theron and baby Jackson was spotted yesterday arriving at LAX airport. Rather than shield him in a baby carrier [which she’d done prior] she held him her arms and made her ways to her vehicle as the pap’s flashed away!
Sidebar: Ok People. Since you don’t want to ask I’ll say it. Many of you are asking right now: Is adopting black babies the new epidemic in hollywood? Madonna, Sandra Bullock, Angelie Jolie, Mariska Hargitay, Katherine Heigel, Jamie Lee Curtis, Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise, Theron. All of these celebrities have all joined in the parental fight to save our youth but we’re seeing more and more of the black toddlers getting scooped up.
Black women have and still are caring for black babies [ ie: The Help Movie] so I see no harm with the shoe being placed on the other foot. However, I’d rather this not be done from a force cause and instead done with genuine love and compassion for children and the ability to help and changes one’s life [despite their ethnicity or complexion]. With that said I personally believe that Charlize has done so.
I think it’s remarkable that as a human race more of us are working towards erasing the ugly prejudice and racism of our society and spreading our love wings around the world instead. We are all mix breeds [don’t care what you wanna call yourselves] Until you can trace your roots from here back to when civilization began you better jump on this new train cause we are surely heading to the heavens with this one. Jackson is a little cutie too. Go head. Charlize.
