[Video] Keri Hilson Joins Epic Book Drive Campaign

R&B singer, Keri Hilson has partnered up with DoSomething.org for a book drive and she’s asking everyone to join in on the mission. The goal of the book drive is to bring books to local people in need and bring awareness of educational inequality amongst urban communities.

According to DoSomething.org reports: 61 percent of low-income families have no age-appropriate books for their children. Hilson, 29, is using her star power to bring attention to the startling statistic. Keri created a video public service announcement in support of the Epic Book Drive Campaign.

In the vid Keri says:

Joining DoSomething.org’s newest effort to provide for people in need with Epic Book Drive was the easiest decision ever!

I truly believe providing access to those who want to learn is the key to bettering lives around the country. And helping kids find healthy outlets, such as books, has always been a passion of mine. So my involvement here is a natural fit
