Lala Anthony, and her hubby Carmelo Anthony and their 5-year old son Kiyan covers the April issue of Vogue magazine. In the mag the newly weds talks about their marriage secrets and how having individual careers help balance their relationship.

Check out excerpts and a sneak peek of their reality show “Lala’s Full Court Life”.

Lala – On Becoming MTV Veejay:
I was very high energy. They wanted to know who this girl was. To be an African-American Hispanic woman on MTV –you weren’t seeing that a lot.

Lala – On Her Sense Of Style:
Now I definitely like to wear clothes that make me feel good. I love wearing something that makes people stop and say, “Where did you get that? On TV, you want people watching to say ‘Hey she looks great, even when she is dressed down. She just has a way of caring herself.

Lala – On How She Keeps Fit:
Eating plenty of fruits and vegetable, but if I fall off the wagon, I’ll go on a juice cleanse for a day or two.

Lala – On How Her Mom [Carmen] Feels With Her Rise To Fame:
“One thing about her is she treats everybody the same. There’s no ‘Oh, I’ve got to suck up to that guy.’ And I think people respect that because everybody helps her out, from the janitor to the CEO. She just came home over the holidays and she wanted to eat Spanish food and talk, and if she left the house even once, I don’t remember.”

Lala – On Her Busy Schedule:
“This is the life I’ve always wanted, and basically it comes with the territory. I love my life and my family, and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Melo – On Lala’s fashion style:
“She has a very classical style. She knows how to make it work.”

Melo – On Seeing Lala For The First Time On TV:
“As a teenager, I wanted to meet her someday, and it came true.”

Melo – On Lala’s Success How It Helps Their Marriage
“We’ve been together for eight years, and we’ve kind of made it work. I have my things, and she has hers. I mean, it would be bad if only one of us had things going on.”

La La’s ‘Full Court Life’ returns on VH1 on March 19th. Check out a sneak peek.

When asked about the trade, Melo says to keep his name out of that one.

“No, no, no, no, let’s nip this in the bud right now. No. I don’t know where that came from. I’m tired of hearing that.”

I’m sure there’s more speculation now than ever now that NY Knicks head coach [Mike D. Antoni] resigned yesterday.  It is rumored that Mike’s rocky relationship with Melo was a big part of the decision. Well, Lala shut it down yesterday on twitter saying:

“Don’t believe it. He loves this city and the team. Believe that!”

Only time with tell but we will keep our viewers informed as this story develops.
