C.Breezy Says: IT’S NOT HAPPENING!
Chris Brown is definitely sticking to his word regarding press interviews. Brown’s rep revealed at the start of 2012 that Chris will not conduct any interviews this year as he wants to remain focus on his music and therefore Chris Brown will not be speaking to any press during the Grammy’s red carpet ceremony this Sunday Feb 12th.
Breezy makes no apologies for his decision because he feels as though the media is out to stain his reputation for good and despite his comeback and current music success, he is often bombarded into talking about Rhianna or the alleged incident which he has already apologized for and moved on from. Chris rep told radaronline:
Chris just wants to do his performance, and let his music speak for him. Chris and Rihanna have both moved on from what happened, and Chris has accepted responsibility for his actions,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com. “Chris thinks it’s unfair that the media wants to focus on the incident, especially when you look at how the media treats Charlie Sheen. Sheen isn’t asked about his criminal record involving several women, including his now ex-wife. Chris might answer a few questions if he wins an award, but it would be very short, and he would only take a few questions, and not talk about Rihanna.
Chris will be attending the Grammy’s with his mother who has been his rock through it all and closing the performance with a stellar performance we’re told.
Things seem to be looking up for the singer. The restraining order has been lifted and Chris Brown and Rhianna can now frequent the same places, and although Chris is still on probation (he has to still move with caution) he appears to be abiding by his probation terms.
“Chris Brown has made great strides as it pertains to his probation supervision. He has maintained his appointments with his supervising officer, has remained truthful and cooperative and has not tested positive for any illicit substances, according to his reports.”
The Grammys air this Sunday at 8pm est on CBS.
