[Update] Elephant Man Rape Allegations!

Earlier this week we reported that dancehall reggae star Elephant aka The ‘Energy God’ was arrested on rape charges by an unidentified woman. Elephant Man is one of top caribbean artists who has worked with and shared the stage with top artists such as Janet Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, Lil Jon and more. He is called the energy god because his songs is just that; his dancehall tunes ignites the energy in your soul and makes you want to get up and dance.

Elephant Man has proclaims his innocence and say’s that he would never rape a woman.

Woman is not my problem…I have 20 kids and 20 babymother’s, I will never have girl problems. I’m not cute, I’m not a face boy but Elephant man has something that a girl will see and like in him. What could I have taken or smoke to where I would take up a woman and beat her or abuse her over sex, C’mon man that will never happen!

Elephant Man recently spoke out in a two-part interview where declares his innocence and loyalty to his fans. I have provided translated english excerpts for those of you that don’t understand ‘Patwa”. During the Part I of the interview, a fan of the reggae star drive by professed his loyalty and said: “Elephant Man, You know they’re lying on you, your a Star Bwoy”

Watch the full interviews below:

I’m just taking the time out to just say to give thanks to the Almighty, Without father god (aka God) my career could not have gone from nothing to something. We’ve been all over the world (Europe, Japan, 52 states, Africa Australia, China, London) and we just want to let all of our fans that Elephant Man would never ever let you all down like that… The fans know me and they have come to my show and they never yet see me having a woman problem nor trying to disrespecting a woman so the allegation and this lie that was told on me, saying that me (I) abused this 38 year-old lady and rape. C’mon look into my eyes, I O’neil Bryan would never disrespect his fans the responsibility that I have in music and the role that I play in music… to do something like is a total disrespect to my loyal fans.

Part I

In Part II, Elephant sits down with CVN, a jamaican news network to talks about his highest and lowest moments in his career and the recent allegations.

What I’ve learned in this business is that every time there is triumph there is also a road block. God has shown me that every time. Here I am with this new record ‘Survivor’ featuring Bounty Killer which is very big in the streets, I’m doing radio interviews in New York, Canada, Connecticut and something like this occurs in the middle of it all
