Brittany Spears is getting married again!
Brittany got engaged thursday night to longtime manager and friend, Jason Trawick. Although they’ve known each other professionally since 2006, Spears and Trawick began dating in 2009.
Jason popped the question at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on his 40th birthday and Brittany accepted the proposal.
Trawick reportedly presented Britney with a diamond ring featuring a three-carat stone and pave diamonds on the band.
A source told Us Weekly: “He picked out something he knew she would love. He surprised her after she gave him his gifts and after they had cake last night.”
And Britney confirmed the good news herself on her Twitter feed, saying: “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for.
“Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited! Xxo.”
Source close to Brittany says that Trawick had asked Brittany’s dad Jamie for permission to propose and was given his blessing to proceed.
