New comers Nikki Leonta & Rich Velonski are lighting up the music scene with their new single ‘City Lights’. Nikki played back-ground singer for Carrie Underwood but she finally gets center-stage on her new CD. Nikki teamed up with longtime friend and producer; Rich has produced songs for Ludacris, Mario, Robin Thicke, and Eve. When asked why Nikki chose to work with Rich in particular she responded the following: “We wanted to take the spirit and greatness of those times and bring them into the present day, and I think the way it’s produced and the style of our writing bears that out”…The album we’ve made sounds contemporary, not like a doo-wop throwback.”
