Tracey stopped by ‘The Gayle King’ show to talk about her new show with co-star ‘Cosby Show’ Malcolm-Jamal Warner. Tracey told Gayle” “This is a show I want to see on television”. Critics of the show have already compared “Reed Between the Lines” to the Cosby Show.
The show does have the same premise with a slight twist. Tracee (Dr. Carla Reed) plays a therapist and her husband Malcolm (Alex Reed) plays an NYU professor, who works at home teaching online classes and taking care of the kids. Tracee says,”The world of self-help and self-awareness has always been of great interests to me. I welcomed the opportunity to introduce, through comedy, this idea of therapy, which has been this ‘hush hush’ thing in our culture.”
“Reed Between The Lines” premieres tonight at 10:00pm on BET.
