Our dynamic duo strikes again with another epic and historical film about “Mansa Musa” ; the legendary ruler and richest man in history whose wealth reshaped the world. Film director – Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan is set to deliver another classic film that allows us to see and redefine pre-colonial African leadership.
” Mansa Musa is an extraordinary re-imagining of one of history’s most powerful and least-told stories. Set against sweeping West African landscapes and the rise of the Mali Empire, the film follows Musa Keita’s transformation from a reluctant heir to the most influential ruler of the medieval world popularly known as “The Golden Ages”.
After a tragic loss fractures his sense of duty, Musa must confront political betrayal, spiritual awakening and the immense responsibility of leading a nation poised to dominate trade, culture and scholarship ”
Mansa Musa was a devout Muslim, a fond horse rider, patron of the arts, and a committed scholar who championed the growth of Timbuktu as a global center of learning and trade. The film is expected to explore the complexities of leader balancing immense power with deep spiritual devotion. – JVPress

The People’s Profile did a wonderful documentary on the life of Mansa Musa that is watch -worthy for all historian lovers and newcomers. This story gives an account on how he acquired the name Mansa through his good character and deeds to how he amassed great wealth and a fortune of success throughout West Africa and achieved his personal goal making his pilgrimage to the Mecca where he brought and strengthened significant economic aid with his GOLD currency. Thereafter, Mansa Musa resided in Mecca and reportedly died of natural causes in the year 1337.
Interestingly, when we look at what’s happening in our country’s “Global Politics” you can over-stand why France and the United States is currently waging war in Nigeria and plotting to overthrow leaders in particular countries on the African continent; Burkina Faso (Ibrahim Traore) , Mali (Assimi Goita), and Niger (Abdourahame Tchiani) regarding the same resources, minerals, and GOLD uranium that will be shed in this upcoming film.
This will be Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan’s sixth film installment following their previous blockbuster hit movie; ‘Fruitvale Station’ ,‘Creed’ , ‘Black Panther‘ (movie series) , and the thrilling collaboration in ‘Sinners’ which debut in movie theaters in April of the year. Kudos to this dynamic duo for bringing this story to the big screen.
