The second part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta aired last night on Bravo and the claws came out of each of the women, and the showdown between Nene and Cynthia unfolded and it was pretty sad to watch.
Cynthia seemed to be pouring her heart out to Nene as she felt the friendship had now come to HAULT due to lack of respect on Nene’s part. The icing on the cake was when Nene called Cynthia’s husband, Peter [the b-word] and seemed very unapologetic for it.
On the second -part reunion, Cynthia said this of her friendship with Nene :
” There’s A Sisterhood There, There’s A Love There, But I Really Feel Never Felt That There Was A Respect There “
When asked whether she and Nene could reconcile their friendship given all the negative events that occurred on and off the show Cynthia said:
” Unfortunately, you just come to the end of the road with people. “
Nene went on public record during her on-on-one interview with Andy Cohen last week and slandered Cynthia’s name as if she was not a loyal friend and suggested that Cynthia be fired from the Bravo network show as she does not bring anything to the table. Nene said:
” I think Cynthia is okay, it’s not like she’s really bringing anything to the show. It’s like when the wind blow she blow that and then when it blows this way she blows…. Girl Bye”
On Sunday [April 28th] it was Cynthia’s had her turn on the Watch What Happens Live couch and she responded:
” I want people to know that I was a loyal friend to Nene. However, I’m actually glad that she did that interview with you [Andy Cohen]. because it validated that she was NEVER my friend that she ‘s actually my WORST enemy. For her to go on national television and say such things is just unheard of. So what – were’ not talking anymore? So that means now all of a sudden I can’t be on the show because she’s on the show. ”
” Nene doesn’t control my DESTINY. GOD controls my DESTINY. I was RELEVANT before the show, I’m RELEVANT on the show, and I will be RELEVANT after the show.”
As for Nene’s wind blowing comment, Cynthia says:
” The wind is fine to blow as long as its blowing up her ASS, but no one else. It’s about RESPECT and ACCOUNTABILITY. She [Nene] never thinks she’s wrong about anything, and she never wants to admit when she’s wrong , and I think everyone knows that and I don’t have to prove that.”
I must say I was disappointed in Nene’s behavior. She seemed very defensive throughout the entire reunion and whenever placed in the hot seat she was very dismissive with Andy Cohen and the other women. If you can dish it, you should be able to take it – that’s all.
