When parenting goes WRONG!
Where do I begin. Rapper, Boosie [on right] was released from prison Wednesday [March 5th] after serving five years on drug related charges. Like many of his fans and family, there was much excitement of his return and his daughter was one of them who made her feelings public.
Boosie posted a video of his offspring sharing her joy of her father’s release along with a few N-words.
While I support the right to freedom of speech, I am truly saddened and disappointed to see young children [our future generation] loosely using the N-word in their daily speech.
Sidebar: I wonder if this will let us all [including myself] examine and or approval of the usage of the N-word Whether song, video, or daily language the ugly truth is that our future generation is watching, listening, and copying everything that we do [hence the video above] .
When I reflect on my own children I am fully aware that I cannot control everything that they hear and see while their not on my watch but I’ll be DAMNED before I allow my children to use this word and or term in my presence. To see a parent co-sign this behavior and upload this video sends a clear message that there is still MUCH to be learned.
